On Tuesday 4th December, a Technical Seminar will be held in the Cactus Building of the Lugo Campus (Location), to inform the public about the important role that river ecosystems play in the conservation of our biodiversity. This event will also raise public awareness about the conservation of our natural and cultural heritage associated with river corridors and wetlands, as well as the ecosystem services provided by them.
To this end, the event will feature a series of interventions from various LIFE projects, including LIFE FLUVIAL, aimed at the enhancement and restoration of river corridors and wetlands, as well as a storytelling on the conservation of river ecosystems in general. The programme is as follows:
16:30 h: Presentation.
16:45 h: Jesús Valderrábano Luque. Presentation of the LIFE FLUVIAL project.
17:15 h: Fernando Cobo Gradín. The conservation of river ecosystems.
17:45 h: Alberto de Anta Montero. Presentation of the LIFE REGENERA-LIMIA project.
18:15 h: Debate and discussion.
Admission to the event will be free and free of charge, until full capacity is reached (40 people).
The event is organised by IBADER of the University of Santiago de Compostela, partner of the LIFE Fluvial project.
