As part of the activities held to commemorate Natura 2000 Network Day, the Association for the Development of Mariñas Betanzos carried out, between 20 and 22 May 2019, a series of days with schoolchildren from Betanzos. During these days, 125 students from Betanzos participated in a workshop to identify and eliminate invasive exotic flora, aimed at encouraging and educating the youngest in the protection of river ecosystems, visited the Pazo de Mariñán, carried out an activity of eaves sighting and built children’s boxes to provide shelter for birds.
